never thought I would return to New Zealand that fast. Well, I guess that depends on the definition of fast. It’s been over 4 years since I’ve been the last time to NZ. Back then I’ve toured the whole country in my little ‘fancy’ green van make 1986 :) and met friends for life. So it was quite obvious that I would make a quick (two weeks) visit to NZ to catch up with my friends while I’m in Australia.
I had an awesome time in NZ and made also a couple of nice trips with my buddy Ricki (cheers mate). During Easter we went on a trip to the East Cape of NZ’s North Island. Lots of windy roads but also lots of marveling landscapes.
me at work :)
and that are the results
I’ve never seen cattle on the beach before… I guess they are living the Kiwi lifestyle too
Raglan, the New Zealand’s Surfers Paradise
Hike to the Waikere Falls
And another kind of hike, this time it was a 4WD track up the mountains
Right now as I’m typing this I’m sitting at the Auckland Airport and waiting for the boarding of my flight back to Sydney… then heading straight for Melbourne.

Great results! Looks like you had an awesome time in Kiwiland as well! I love the cattle on the beach shot…. looks like a scene from a western gone wrong! lol Also like those weird plants… what are they? Strange things happen over there! haha

Yeah, it was great! The plants are called Toitoi! Their plume form in the late spring and last throughout the summer. I’ve even seen some in Victoria on the Great Ocean Road!

Hello Arthur, I see you had an amazing time and captured some spectacular images. The photo with the cattle on the beach is a nice conversation piece. It almost has an avant-garde characteristic, which makes it a Hoffmann original 8-)
