There’s no place in the World like Sydney. Australia’s oldest, largest and most diverse city is outrageously good looking. It is the first place most people see when they come to Australia and why not? Big, bold, brash and fun, Sydney is a great introduction and gateway to the continent.
Staying close to Central Station, I haven’t had it far to all the places Sydney is famous for. Within a half-hour walk of here in various directions, I could plunge into the rambling Darling Harbour or marvel at the iconic Opera House and the Sydney Harbour.

Western Standards? Well, you better forget about them as soon as you step out of the bangkokian Airport. They definitely do not apply on this part of the world. But if you can go without them you can easily travel thru Thailand even on a tight budget.
And forget about English, too. You may find a handful of Thai in Bangkok and the tourist hubs who do speak English but their vocabulary may just enough to get you something sold. The most common phrase you will hear is „where you go“. haha

Maybe I should stop playing around with the source code of my blog and post instead some photographs. Some may have noticed, that I’m changing my blog, again… I still haven’t touched most of the pics I shot on my trip thru the western USA. Just a few! The rest is still waiting for post processing. Hopefully I will get them done in the next time. Probably, I am just scared of the review :)

San Francisco is surely charming, and when you see it from across the tousled waters of the bay or from atop one of its impossible hills, it’s hard to imagine any other American city looking so damn attractive. From all the cities I have been too across America, San Francisco is the one I would favor before them all.
It has row upon row of gorgeous Victorian homes, acres of forested urban parks and long sandy strands offering picture-postcard views of the brick-red Golden Gate Bridge. No wonder I gave me whole four nights in this gorgeous city.

Well, like some friends did forecast. Los Angeles wasn’t a real blast. It just wasn’t the way, they are selling LA in Hollywood movies. I don’t think you are imaging the Walk of Fame, as a place where adult shops and cheap boutiques are queuing along the stars. lol
Los Angeles is huge, real huge! It’s a titanic, sprawling, brawling place – a patchwork of 88 separate towns conspiring to look like a city.

Yeahaaa! I did it! Landed yesterday in Vegas! Going to start my road trip from here!
Fun city?! Sin City?! Whatever! Vegas is awesome! I don’t need to know more ;)
Las Vegas, a surreal appariation rising out of barren desert sands, at first glance Las Vegas appears a shimmering mirage, a figment of your imagination. An alternate universe, where the globe’s most famous sights – ancient Egypt’s pyramids, Paris’s Eiffel Tower, the canals of Venice – tumble together, bathed in an ethereal neon glow.

a bit late, but better late than never. ay!?
Washington D.C., the nations capital and the place where the greatest cowboy in the world has his official residence, well at least until next January. Isn’t the world lucky that the American President can only be reelected once :) ok so far enough in getting political… here are a few pictures of what I took in Washington D.C.

‘Immerse yourself in New York City for five minutes, and you’ll see why it’s like no other place on earth.’ It looks like something in this statement seems to be true.
This city is full of diversity. Probably only here u will find all of America’s attributes, intensified in such an intriguing way. Only here will you experience those sublime moments that New York City is famous for.
It was an kick-ass long ‘4th of July’ weekend in New York. I’ve grazed a bunch of the most prominent sites in NY, but still not all of them. Lots to see in such a short time…damn it!
For those back home who think I do spend mostly of my time here only in sunshine. Well, to be honest and to satisfy you people, the weather wasn’t that sunny, this time. This was really kind of a setback, particularly if you want to take some pictures :(
Nevertheless I had an awesome time in NY and several wicked experiences, even if my impressions weren’t that positive from the very first. I guess you have to give this ever-pulsating city some time to convince your heart. So watch out for the numerous varieties NY is packed with and make NY like no other place on earth.

last weekend we have been to Daytona Beach, Florida, due to Spring Break. Summary is “just wicked”! Usually I don’t the chance to spend Easter on the Beach and running around in beachwear. Well, Easter in Germany is a lil’ different as I can remember. Usually it totally sucks!!!
But let the pictures talk…
